Nicolas Babin disruptive week about Artificial Intelligence – April 4th 2022

I am regularly asked to summarize my many posts. I thought it would be a good idea to publish on this blog, every Monday, some of the most relevant articles that I have already shared with you on my social networks. Today I will share some of the most relevant articles about Artificial Intelligence and in what form you can find it in today’s life. I will also comment on the articles.

Artificial Intuition is the Next Phase of Artificial Intelligence. The goal is to minimize human intervention and allow machines to operate independently. To date, AI has gone through three phases of its development. Descriptive analysis to answer what happened, diagnostic analytics to answer why it happened and predictive analytics to answer what might happen next. The analytical and forecasting power of AI has increased tremendously, but it won’t stop there. The problem with the current generation of AI is it needs to receive data from humans. This reduces the problem-solving power of artificial intelligence in dealing with new events. There is no denying that AI has made it easier for humans to predict the future. But, dealing with future events, like another pandemic, needs a more powerful AI. This is a very interesting development as artificial intuition is something we have been working on for a while now. This was the last hurdle to differentiate AI and human behavior.

Why gender perspectives must be included in the study of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence (AI) currently plays a central role in the digitisation and modernisation strategies of public administrations and companies throughout Europe, the United States and China. The potential improvements and advances in efficiency that the incorporation of AI can offer strategic sectors in different countries have made it indispensable in a new era of technological transformation. And while no one wants to be left behind, the main players of this new digital era have from the very beginning approached these technologies in significantly different ways.

Realistic Expectations of Artificial Intelligence. Although we’re still a few decades out from seeing most businesses and industries use artificial intelligence (AI) in their operations, there is certainly greater adoption than there has been in years past. It behooves business leaders to learn all they can about AI. According to a top IT training company, 2021 saw a sharp uptick in respondents to its annual AI Adoption in the Enterprise survey, (nearly three times than in the previous year), as well as 61 percent of respondents showing that they are actively considering or evaluating AI solutions. Have a read to understand four things you should know about expectations of AI.

Artificial Intelligence: Using Advanced Analytics to Detect Conduct and Patterns of Behavior. Artificial intelligence (AI) adoption has been largely accepted in the legal community, as many have realized the value of technology that can detect relevant content and produce better outcomes. Incorporating AI into document review workflows or using insights to inform case strategy is transformative and drives better results. From government requests to civil litigation and internal investigations, high profile and fast-moving matters require efficient processes. Deploying technology strategically will help teams to identity key documents and themes early in the case and manage the assessment and review of data efficiently. The continued evolution of AI tools, such as the ability to detect conduct and behavior through sentiment analysis and pattern processing, will further assist with investigatory compliance but can also be used proactively.

7 Trends in Artificial Intelligence every founder should pay attention to. A.I. technology is becoming more sophisticated and more affordable for small businesses. If you’re wondering how important artificial intelligence is to your business’s future, all you have to do is follow the money. In 2021, private companies invested $93.5 billion in A.I.–more than double the total private investment in 2020. That’s according to 2022’s “The AI Index Report,” an annual report by the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. With more funding comes more inventions: the number of A.I. patents filed in 2021 was up 30 times compared with 2015, according to the report. To make sure you’re up to speed on the latest A.I. developments, have a read , this is really interesting.

What do those meowing and neighing mean? Will artificial intelligence tell us how animals communicate? Have you ever wondered what if humans are able to communicate with animals and birds? With the help of the artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm, scientists recently revealed that they translated pig grunts into emotions for the first time. It could help them monitor animal wellbeing. Experts have claimed that the research, which was led by the University of Copenhagen, the ETH Zurich and France’s National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) could also be used to better understand the emotions of other mammals. This is right now not achievable but with the progress in AI development, we could see real break through.

ESG Initiatives Experiment with Artificial Intelligence. AI has found a role in ESG initiatives, even as data-related challenges continue to present roadblocks. Learn about environmental sustainability examples that use AI. When India’s government, states, and union territories launched the 24 x 7 Power for All program, an initiative to provide countrywide access to electricity, state officials faced a challenge: They had to buy electricity power blocks in advance, which required them to accurately predict demand. Pen-and-paper calculations proved insufficient. Fortunately, artificial intelligence models came to the rescue. Models help predict electricity consumption, saving budgets and wasted resources in the process. This is true example where tech for good is excellent. We need to protect the environment and AI can definitely play a key role.
