Nicolas Babin disruptive week about Artificial Intelligence – August 2nd 2021

I am regularly asked to summarize my many posts. I thought it would be a good idea to publish on this blog, every Monday, some of the most relevant articles that I have already shared with you on my social networks. Today I will share some of the most relevant articles about Artificial Intelligence and in what form you can find it in today’s life. I will also comment on the articles.

Artificial Intelligence Links Anemia to COVID-19 Rehospitalization. By examining Mayo Clinic data, nference used artificial intelligence to discover a correlation between anemia and long-term symptoms of COVID-19. According to an analysis of Mayo Clinic data by artificial intelligence company nference, anemia-related laboratory tests should be considered in risk stratification algorithms for COVID-19 patients due to long-term effects. The study’s authors discovered that pre-COVID-19 anemia is the strongest clinical indication of long-term COVID-19 phenotypes and symptoms. These symptoms can continue to appear weeks or months after the COVID-19 infection has left an individual’s immune system.

On Businessofhome.com: https://businessofhome.com/articles/will-artificial-intelligence-ever-out-design-designers

Will artificial intelligence ever out-design designers? There’s a concept in artificial intelligence called “the singularity.” It refers to the idea that AI will one day be able to reproduce and improve upon itself at increasingly rapid speeds, resulting in a computerized brain exponentially more powerful than human intelligence, capable of transforming civilization as we know it. Cue either a robot-enabled utopia or a hellish cyber-apocalypse, depending on your faith in technology. Some scholars are confident the singularity is only a matter of time. Others say it’s pure science fiction. For the time being, let’s leave the issue to the Ph.D.s and focus on a few simpler questions. Forget whether a computer will ever be able to design a smarter computer—will a computer ever be able to design an elegant, midcentury-inspired living room? Are we due for an interior design singularity? And if we are, will human designers become obsolete?

Artificial Intelligence Takes Off in the Enterprise. Despite teething problems, artificial intelligence (AI) has become mainstream. In fact, it is more than mainstream. It’s inevitable. That is to say, no matter how enterprises set up their technology infrastructure, it seems unlikely they will remain competitive without AI. A recent report, IBM’s 2021 Global AI Adoption Index, underlines this.
